We finally picked up our Christmas tree from a local lot and hung a fresh wreath on the front door. We will decorate the tree tonight and play some holiday music like we do each year. Instead of stringing lights on our two story home, this year I bought two snowflake projectors for the front of the house and snowflake string lights for the porch to delight the passing neighbors.
Working a full time job has taken up most of my time this season, but I’m enjoining the work I’m doing, I find it stimulating and fulfilling. Our daughter comes home next week so the house will be full again with family, and I’ll work from home in the afternoons in December. We have plans for a post Christmas mountain getaway in Lake Tahoe, have you ever been? It’s so beautiful, definitely one of the most scenic places to visit in California.
